Production Narrative

Images and texts were set up in a computer software program prior to coming to VSW, but the paper size needed for the process required that I use residency time to resize and re-layout the project. I learned new computer skills. When I saw the proofs from the printer, the images were flattened out and often more contrasty than I had intended, but there was no time or opportunity to make corrections and changes because of the costs. The book that resulted was different from the way I had visualized the piece.
